- Develop and validate an NSF-funded autonomous transportation testbed integrating a MATLAB digital twin, OptiTrack Motive/NatNet, Ackermann and skid-steer ground vehicles, Tello drones, and embedded controllers.
- Implement real-time localization and map registration using rigid-body tracking, NatNet pose streaming, coordinate transforms, calibration, and tracking-health checks to align physical experiments with the digital map.
- Develop MATLAB controllers for path following, waypoint navigation, same-lane following, collision safety, and reservation-based intersection coordination; developed a 20 Hz multi-drone feedback controller with independent state, PID memory, safety logic, diagnostics, and nonblocking UDP command handling.
